The Goddess Athena, from ancient Greek mythology, born from Zeus, is most associated with the power of wisdom. The Owl is her sacred companion and the Olive branch, leaf and fruit represents peace, healing and nourishment. She is also known as a Warrior Goddess – for knowledge, truth and justice, she will give you clear, prompt advice.

Invoke Athena when you are in need of

•        – Avoiding and resolving arguments or destruction

•        – Getting Justice

•        – Protection

•        – Attuning to your intuitive Wisdom

•        – Writing on all levels, Arts and Crafts

Spell for Wisdom and Strength

You will need

•        – A green or dark blue candle

•        – A Piece of green paper and a blue pen, or

•        – A piece of blue paper and a green pen

•         -A picture of an Owl

•        – An Olive ( or if you find olives icky, substitute for a green grape)

•        – A fire proof dish

Now on your chosen paper, write down what you need help with, this could be more wisdom for exams, decision making or help with

resolving tension or arguments in an existing relationship / friendship.

Light your candle, invoke the Goddess Athena and read to her your
note for assistance.

Now take your note and burn it in the fire proof dish
Stand back chanting this invocation ( Mantra )

Now eat the Olive or Grape
Snuff out the candle
Carry the picture of the Owl with you for 14 days then put him on the
fridge or anywhere where he will empower your wisdom.
